Pain is one of the most common reasons that people seek medical attention. When pain is severe, it can impair your ability to function. Many physical conditions including injury, arthritis, and fibromyalgia can bring about pain. Psychological factors, like stress or unconscious conflict, can worsen or even cause pain.
